Ağam, the dessert artist of İzmir, was founded in 1978 as the “sweet dream” of Yaşar Murat—one of the most respected dessert masters raised in Gaziantep.
Sharing his uniquely crafted desserts with the people of İzmir in a very small shop he opened in Karşıyaka under the name “Ağam”, Yaşar Murat quickly earned İzmir’s admiration, grew rapidly, and soon became a beloved and proud symbolic brand of İzmir.
With its deep-rooted history and profound craftsmanship, Ağam continues to inspire admiration today with its factory and galleries located in the İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone—remaining a delicious creation for the people of İzmir, for whom it exists.
